It's Springtime in Hale, sadly it means that some cars must die. I don't know what caused this particular police car's demise, but it wasn't the first one recently. Some drunk guy named Casey got drunk and disorderly and stole one while trying to evade pursuit by Deputy Ibram. I think he was finally arrested, sedated, tried, convicted and sentenced to community service. A third police car is missing, the Sheriff's Office is offering an award to whoever finds it first.
A large sasquatch wearing a sombrero smelling like Old Spice was spotted in the Outlands, no apparent connection.
I met Casey sobering up and recovering from multiple gunshot wounds. I tried to use my grappling hook to drag him to medical. I managed to convince him to get strapped into the scanner.
The scanner does reassuringly convincing animations, but I have no medical training, so it only looks cool. I stuck a lemon in his mouth and pour grain alcohol over his wounds, then sprinkled them with salt and washed 'em out with alcohol again. The lemon in his mouth kept his screams from hurting my ears.
Later, Casey moved from his shipping box to an apartment. He was giving us a tour when two ships arrived. There was a flurry of activity.
Casey was showing me the new scope he got on his sniper rifle. He said something about waiting for a liquor to come off one of those ships.
Coincidentally, someone shot a shephard. Chaos ensued.
My egg did not win the Egg Decorating Contest. I thought the green absynthe fairy trapped inside of an egg was a cool idea.
I don't know who won.
Or why. I am hoping someone will announce in the Hale Herald and tell me.
I hadn't seen Kasuko in an age. I had just come off EVA and hadn't unsuited yet when I saw her in the mayor's office. Seana should get vending machines or something in there.
Gallagher has been taking time to train up his deputy-monkey, Neelix.
Gallagher got some enhanced super premium pet food for Neelix.
Kasuko and I were on hand to see the results of Gallagher's expert training.
Ah well. x0x0 doesn't like Neelix for some reason. He has a new trick now that involves an obnoxious gesture with his underarm.
Zeno and I had a meeting with Tillery and Kaezin to discuss common security issues of CATZ and CNS.
New lines of bots going to the Zenobia Polytechnical Institute. New AIs too.
Cylla is a new face at the Tri-V pawn shop in Hale.

I showed Jade around the Frigate we have moored over the deserts of Mu Draconis and reviewed evacuation & work for fare procedures.
Jade made this cool sand skimmer. Bascially a rocket boosted shuttle. Wicked.
Had to deliver water to the head of the local smugglers. Gal's gotta pay rent ya know.
Gave a tour to some visiting Federationist dignitaries to their science outpost in the desert. An unscheduled agreement between the UFS and the STC was reached. The Federationist Utopian ideal continues.
