Monday morning, I am testing my new skydiving equipment with Lily's tower as my target.
There's a dead guy on her roof with a laptop computer. New flags too, very styley.
Lily runs off and can't hear me over the static of her radio.
Later in front of Fook Yoo's, LilyBell explains that the dead body on the roof was a Blue Sun Operative trying to install some naughty electronics. I suggested she might want to clean it up, but she does not want to use explosives so close to her home.
I show up in Hale's Moon today and Emma Ditko has a message from LilyBell that she got information off the computer of the dead Blue Sun Operative on the roof of her tower. She was heading off the Mindo's House to get cub. And to tell Gallagher.
I send a message to Gallagher and try to get LilyBell on the radio. Negative on both counts.
Emma comes with me to LilyBell's Tower, hoping to find maybe the computer. I check a few other places where I have seen LilyBell dispose of bodies, and even Gallagher's Officer. No luck.
We tracked down what turned out to be a dead lead in Shadow and returned to Hale.
AuroraBlue was there and bit both Emma and me. She explained that the bit protected us from Mindo.
We followed AuroraBlue to Madame Mayor Seana's Office. LittleBoots bit Madame Mayor Seana HARD on the arm, drawing blood.
AuroraBlue said she only just got out of quarantine and that she could smell LilyBell's and Ben BigBoot's scent, but they were not there anymore. AuroraBlue said LilyBell made her stay in quarantine so that she did not end up like Mindo. Her skin hurts.
AuroraBlue confirmed that men stole samples of the synthesized compound Mindo used to create reavers. Also that LilyBell's body was manufacturing the compound that creates the Reavers and that it will kill her and will make her moodier, more violent and crazier. Also that Mindo's cure does not work, only temporary. It does act as a sort of inoculation. Mindo's sister (xoxo) took Mindo to Shadow and Imrhein hid him in the wastelands somewhere underground.
LilyBell will want to fight more and more. An increased interest in fighting. The sight of blood or meat excites her. Running away without explanation. Moodier than usual. She does not know it is happening. Yet she resists it. But the symptoms indicate her time is nearly up. AuroraBlue explained that she bit her several times but it does not seem to stop, it only seems to temporarily stop it.
[12:08] AuroraBlue LittleBoots: There is one other thing Mei-Mei (she looks at Seana very directly).
[12:09] Seana Kawanishi looks calmly at AuroraBlue
[12:10] AuroraBlue LittleBoots: I will have to release Blue. It would be bad if he were to become part of the Reaver experiment. And I cannot protect him any longer. Mindo knows he is here now.
[12:12] AuroraBlue LittleBoots stood and bowed seriously toward Seana, her little body a perfect shaping of respect at the same time, fully in control of more things than her stature would indicate.
[12:13] Seana Kawanishi: Little one . . . We are not going to let it end this way.
[12:13] AuroraBlue LittleBoots: It will not end.
[12:14] Seana Kawanishi: It will.
[12:14] Seana Kawanishi: Everything ends, little one. Entropy always wins in the end.
[12:14] Seana Kawanishi: Ich habe mein gluckliches Ende.
[12:15] AuroraBlue LittleBoots: Not this time. Goodbye my warrior. Your time is at hand.
Emma, Krenshar and I tried to follow AuroraBlue, but she disappeared just like Mindo did last week, near the mine entrances
I will see if Duncan can get me a lead from Immy.
